

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel on West Main Street with Brother Clarence Robinson officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
Jarvis was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia and attended Camby Lane Elementary School and Lithonia High School. He also attended Iverson School of Medicine.
Jarvis was a dedicated servant of Jehovah and was baptized on October 22, 1994 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. As a young boy, he was known as “Cookie Monster Jarvis”. He loved music and motorcycles. Jarvis was very loving and had a personality that drew people to him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Tommy Lewis of Stockbridge, Georgia; his mother, Brenda Lowe of Dothan, Alabama; his brother, Jermaine Lewis (Lawana) of Georgia; a nephew, Cristian Lewis of Georgia; his grandparents, Tommy and Lillie Lowe of Dothan, Alabama; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
