Mr. Maddox was born December 12, 1945 in Selma, Alabama and lived the early years of his life in McCalla. He has been a resident of Cottonwood since 2010. He was employed as an electrical engineer at Farley Nuclear Plant for 25 years prior to his retirement. Mr. Maddox was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane C. Maddox; a son, Keith Maddox and his fiancé, Amy, all of Cottonwood; 3 grandchildren, Chase Maddox, Emily Maddox and Laken Maddox; 3 step-grandchildren, Roy Sampson, Valerie Sampson and Andrea Sampson.
