Linda Moore-Stone

“Honey” as she was affectionately known was born June 22, 1947 in Enterprise to Shellie and Clorie Moore. She was a longtime resident of Dothan. She was in the mortgage lending business for many years and participated in a number of local business and civic organizations. She attended Cloverdale Baptist Church.

She is survived by her father, Shellie Moore of Dothan; the man that made her smile, Bill McLendon; a daughter, Pattie Meints (Mike) of Burlington, VT, two sons, Jeffery Stone (Sherri) of Marianna, FL and Keith Stone (Lyvonne) of Dothan; three grandchildren, Jamie Anderton, Joseph Herring and Andrew Stone; five great-grandchildren, Zeke, Matthew, Caleb, Parker and Landon; a brother, Gene Moore of Dothan; and many close dear friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Cloverdale Baptist Church, in Dothan, Alabama.

The family requests no flowers, but in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the MS Foundation, 801 Shades Creek Parkway, Suite 100B, Birmingham, AL 35209.
