Martha Inez Davis

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Springs Baptist Church with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-1:45 p.m. on Friday prior to service time.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Grandview Baptist Church, 2400 Forrester Road, Dothan, AL 36301.

Martha was born November 26, 1934 in Houston County and lived all of her life in Dothan. She was a graduate of Frenchie’s College of Cosmetology. She was a beautician for over 60 years and owned and operated Martha’s Beauty Shop for over 30 years. Martha was a member of the Pilot Club and Grandview Baptist Church.

Martha is predeceased by her daughter, Susie Skvasik, her son, Randy Davis and her sister, Betty Marshall.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Brandi Whittaker; a great grandson, Dre Smith; a nephew, David Marshall; a great nephew, Nathan Marshall; and a niece, Donna McClung.
