Opal V. Joyce

The family will receive friends at Byrd Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Johnny Celzo officiating.

Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. (EST) Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL with Byrd Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Joyce was born in Pansey Alabama and lived in Dothan most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Major John “Jack” Joyce, parents, Andrew and Willie Vickers, and brothers, Martin and Lester.

She is survived by a son, Joseph; daughter, Ann; brother, Early and a sister, Hazel.Arrangements under the direction of Byrd Funeral Home, Dothan, Alabama.
