Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel on West Main Street. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
He was a lifelong resident of Pansey, Alabama, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a hardworking farmer, an avid fisherman and adored grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Willie Emma Temple and sister, Debbie Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Temple; daughter, Wendy (Stan Dawsey); son, Adam Temple (Sarah); sister, Mary Jeffcoat (Jim); and five beloved grandchildren, Madison, Mallory, Colby, Carly and Sam.
