Amir Kashton Hunter passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was born to Leon Charles Hunter Jr. and Jocelyn Kay Keller at Wellstar Cobb Hospital on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
Amir was a happy, outgoing child whose smile could light up a room. His two sisters, Adriana and Amiya, lovingly nicknamed him “Tony Macaroni” which Amir adored. He enjoyed playing with his sisters, bouncing on dad’s stomach and getting hugs from mom. Some of his favorite games were swinging, walking the kids’ toy cat and jamming out on his drum set he received from his first Christmas. He had a healthy appetite and enjoyed Gerber cinnamon puffs and the gooey cheese topping from pizzas. The simplest of things made Amir smile and that smile will forever stay in our hearts.
Amir Kashton Hunter is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leon Charles Hunter Sr. and Miriam Coleman.
His memory will be cherished by his parents, Leon Charles Hunter Jr. and Jocelyn Kay Keller; sisters, Adriana (age two) and Amiya (age one); maternal grandparents, Richard and Donna Keller; paternal great-grandmother, Willie Mae Coleman; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Stewart; aunts, Becky Nevenglosky, Holly Lakkis (Peter), Kristy Keller, Jenny Keller, Erica Stanczak (Brittany) and Tawanna Jones; uncles, Aaron Keller, Henry Coleman and Frederick Coleman; and a host of cousins and extended family members.
