Born on March 3, 1987, in the Philippines, he was the son of Susan Pinero and the late Phillip Pinero. Anthony dedicated seventeen exemplary years to active service with the United States Air Force, where his role as an Engineering Apprentice showcased his unwavering commitment. Simultaneously, he pursued academic excellence at Embry Riddle Aeronautical, graduating summa cum laude—an achievement that reflected his impeccable work ethic. Anthony's quest for knowledge continued as he worked towards a Master’s Degree at Troy University, while also being a valued member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Fraternity.
In addition to his military and academic achievements, Anthony was a loving husband to Sheena Pinero and a devoted father to their daughters, Sophia Pinero and Ahndrea Pinero. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. His mother, Susan Pinero; brothers, Jerome Pinero, Joseph Pinero, Andrew Pinero; sisters, Maria Teresa Ballucanag, Glendalyn Ellarma, Princess Navalta, Jacqueline T. Caceres and Izybelle Bashir; and father and mother-in-law, Arturo Bergantinos and Mylene Bergantinos, mourn his passing. Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Pinero.
Family and friends are invited to honor his memory at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. The funeral mass, a celebration of Anthony's life, will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a gathering until 5:00 p.m.
A poignant moment of closure will take place on Friday, January 5, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., as Anthony is laid to rest at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The ceremony will include military honors presented by the United States Air Force Honor Guard, a fitting tribute to his dedicated service.
