Barbara Jane Harrison, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021. She was born December 22, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio. Family centric was the best way to describe Barbara. Barbara enjoyed the simple joys of life. She loved to swim, loved music and enjoyed going to rock concerts. Barbara was an avid NASCAR fan – especially of Dale Earnhardt. She enjoyed sports cars, especially driving her red Camaro with a loud muffler. Her desire was to own a Corvette. Barbara was a big part of Harrison Contracting.
Preceding her in death were her beloved husband of 34 years, Deryl Harrison; her parents, Edwin S. and Helen (Pike) Wilson; a son, Mike Harrison; and a granddaughter, Amber Harrison.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Bill Harrison (Stacey) and Dan Harrison (Heather) all of Villa Rica, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Kristi McQuillen of Carrollton, Georgia; brother, Tom Wilson (Marjorie) of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Allison Elrod, Ashton Henry, Steven Harrison, Mikey Harrison and Danny Harrison; and great-grandchild, Kennedy Harrison.
