Mrs. Barbara Zakrzewski, age 76, of Douglasville, GA passed away August 1, 2016. She was born February 29, 1940 in Atlanta, GA. Barbara enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and cooking. Her favorite times however, were spent with her family and grandchildren, of which she was very proud.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zenon Zakrzewski; brother Warren L. Goodwin, Jr; sister Joy Wolfe and grandson Elliot Dillon.
Mrs. Zakrzewski is survived by her daughters Melodie Henderson, Teresa Harris, Yvonne Zakrzewski, Lora Copp and Christina Shank; sister Carey Dietzman; grandchildren Rae Harris, Zoe Harris, Dax Henderson, Kira Henderson, Adelaide Zakrzewski, Emmet Dillon, Amanda Pedrick and Kayla Copp as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5 until 8 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held in the Rosehaven Chapel on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2 o’clock pm. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
