Beverley Francis

Beverley Francis, age 79, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. She was born June 12, 1943 in St. Mary, Jamaica. Beverley enjoyed family time and loved going out to dinner and spent hours in the grocery stores. Her grocery shopping always contributed to her love for cooking—she was the best cook in the world. One of her specialties was Indian dishes, which was partly due to her Indian heritage. A strong believer in her faith, she loved to sing—especially gospel music. She loved bright colors but red was her favorite. In her spare time, Beverley enjoyed gardening and loved planting flowers.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Granville Francis and Margaret McKenzie along with several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memories are her Children: Ricardo/Sophia Notise, Deon/Raymond Harrison, Marvin/Nola Williams, Veniece Howell, Glen Howell, Janice Howell, Vanessa Howell, Paul/Kenesha Howell; Adopted Daughters: Chantell/Fitzabert Martin, and Sheila Bent; brothers, Rudolph Gabbidon, Clement Johnson, Everald Udell, Clifford Francis; Sisters: Cynthia/Leroy Burgess, Valda Francis, Victoria Udell, Lorna Henry; Grandchildren: Raymando/Chakima Harrison, Latonya Notise, Sanika Williams, Julius Torres, Ramone Harrison, Nikita Notise, Ricardo Notise, Sanjay Williams, Cruz Torres, Shayne Williams, Malika Thomas, Latasha McCrae, Toyin Harrison, Trae Martin, Peyton Shand, Anthonile Howell, Yanjhaunie Howell, Kaiden Martin; Sixteen Great-Grandchildren, as well as a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Celebration of life service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Richard McNeil officiating and Elder Raymond Harrison (Son-in-Love) serving as moderator. Following the service, Beverley will be laid to rest in Rosehaven Memorial Park.
