Brigida Ulanday Sales, age 81, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, August 25, 2023. She was born October 8, 1941 in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan, Philippines. Brigida was a sweet and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She has touched people’s lives through her positive spirit and wonderful smile. She loved cooking, baking, reading, taking care of her grandchildren and watching basketball and baseball.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Juan and Fortunata (Cabuang) Ulanday; brothers and sisters, Bonifacio Cacerez, Maria Poyaoan, Delfin Ulanday, Gervacio Ulanday and Honorato Ulanday.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 52 years, Leopoldo Sales; two daughters, Elaine Lacap (Shawn) and Mariel Abordo (Marvin); two brothers, Saturnino Ulanday and Marcelino Ulanday; five grandchildren, Paul Lacap, Aaron Abordo, Isaiah Abordo, Andrew Lacap and Ethan Lacap; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
