Carol Lee Kobulnicky

Mrs. Carol Lee Harvey Kobulnicky, age 69, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on August 29, 2016. She was born June 9, 1947 in New Orleans to the late Arthur and Marguerite Kampen Harvey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore Harvey; and step-daughter, Shellie Jazdzewski.

Mrs. Kobulnicky was very devout in her Catholic faith. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and anyone she ever met. She was always willing to help anyone. She was very instrumental in helping her husband with opportunities in his career. She loved her dog, “Smokey,” who would never go to bed without her.

She is survived by her husband, George Kobulnicky; and sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Erika Kobulnicky, Steven and Letha Kobulnicky, and John Coker; grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Kobulnicky, Justin Kobulnicky, Marissa Coker, and Erica and Kristen Jazdzewski.

The family will receive friends at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM. A Rosary Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM from St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church with Fathers Mark Starr, Gont Nguyen, Luis Alvarez and Fernando Molina-Restrepo officiating.

On Friday, September 2, 2016, the family will receive friends at Schepner McDermott Funeral Home in Crafton, PA from 9:00 until 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Mark’s Cemetery in McKees Rocks, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Mrs. Kobulnicky’s memory to Catholic Charities USA, P.O. Box 17066, Baltimore, MD 21297-1066.
