Carolyn was born on January 3, 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Peter Freeman and Sarah Kagelmacher Freeman. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville and enjoyed a life filled with simple pleasures and creativity. Carolyn loved reading, gardening, visiting the beach, and expressing her artistic talents through ceramics and embroidery.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Christi (Ken) Revelle; her son, Craig (Angela) Christian; her siblings, Janet and Gary; her granddaughter, Brianna Revelle; and her great-grandchildren, Kenzie Revelle, Kyleigh Christian and Grady. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 41 years, Homer “Ed” Edward Christian; and her grandson, Matt Christian, son of Craig and Cherie.
She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
