

Charlotte Elizabeth Camp, 92, lifetime resident of Douglasville, passed away on Monday January 11, 2016. Miss Camp worked for 38 years with the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta in the Financial Services Division. She had a passion for gardening and taking care of her many dogs. She enjoyed cooking, canning and making jellies and jams. Her favorite flowers were roses of all types, with yellow being her most treasured. The Family wishes to express their appreciation for the numerous caregivers and neighbors that have extended their loving care and assistance to Miss Camp for the last several years. They are especially thankful for the care and oversight provided by Nakita Citizen and her team, truly they are angels sent from heaven. Miss Camp was predeceased by her parents Sallie Mae Evans and Varner Benjamin Camp and her brother William Varner Camp. Miss Camp is survived by her sisters Sarah Delanie Camp and Mary Camp Fouts, and nieces and nephews and their families: Dana and William Camp, Jr. and son Harrison , Deborah and Robert Camp and their sons Corey and Casey, Julie Camp and Albert Ott and their children Alex and Sydney, James Camp, Angelyn Fouts Dever and Al Blackstock and their children Pam, Stanley and Brett, Jo and Michael Fouts and their son Darren, and Molly Fouts and Reamon Beaty and their daughters, Anna and Jessica and 15 great-great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 16 at 1:00pm at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Memorial Park. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Whitley-Garner Chapel followed by interment at Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church.
