Clifford was born in Douglasville, Georgia on September 7, 1936, the son of the late Richard Edgar Leake and Sarah Hortence Hipps Leake. In his younger years, Clifford’s favorite sport was bowling. He became quite the outdoorsman and spent time deer hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Clifford also had a love of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt was the guy to follow.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Leake, sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Joy Leake, Larry and Lisa Leake; grandchildren, Randy Leake, Ryan Leake, sister, Barbara Dodson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Lawson Leake.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
