Cynthia Brunson was my second mom. She was always there when I needed some advice. We both shared the best zodiac sign. ((LEO). Me and her daughter Toni are the best of friends and will remain BFF’s. Cynthia always included me in all her family events and made sure I was always comfortable in her atmosphere.
Cynthia will truly be missed and will always be close to my heart. 💕

My condolence goes out to Toni and her family. Besides being a good friend of Toni, she is also like a little sister to me. Her mom Cynthia, was a very funny lady. She was no nonsense and lived her life on her own terms! Life did not pass her by without her taking advantage of it so, she was true to herself and lived in the moment. She exemplified that Life isn’t meant to be lived perfectly…but merely to be Lived. Cynthia Marie Brunson seemed to have accomplished that pretty well. Rest in Peace Cynthia. It was my pleasure knowing you.

Love,

Angie

The only other women I would call mom and mean it, in every sense of the word mother. In fact, she helped my mother raise me. She raised me as one of her own. Ma was no joke and she wasn't scared to show it. The balance is, she is one of the sweetest thoughtful and nurturing ppl I've ever encountered in my life. As a youth, she allowed me to be apart of her family which gave me a big brother ,sister and a best friend brother. Ms. Cynthia always looked our for me when she saw me in the street playing. She'd say " You better behave yourself or I'ma beat your , you know what". And what ever she saw me doing, I stopped. Then she'd say, " I love you boi, see you later." Lol. Of course I'd say it back. However this is a fond memory because , this is exactly what we need today for the youth. And... It also taught me to be just that way with my youth and the others I love. Believe me I have learned a lot more. However, that memory sticks to me because in my situation, I needed that. I love you Ma. Always and forever. Rest in Power...My Queen💎☯️

I remember when I first met Cynthia we were very cordial and early in our meeting each other one day we got into a heated disagreement over her granddaughter, my stepdaughter Alexis, of course it was merely a miscommunication but the point was we were arguing over her safety ultimately, anyway we got over it and honestly I believe when she seen the love and care I had for her granddaughters and when we agreed the proper way to drink Hennessy is straight, because she was an excellent bartender and let you know, that is when she truly and honestly accepted me as family. She was a firecracker then but she was loving caring and brutally yet warmingly honest and gave it to you straight and that was what I most appreciated and loved about her. She was always kind and warm to me and though that is how i remember and knew her until our last meeting being that firecracker is how she'll forever be in my heart. She may be gone physically but she'll always be with her family who she loved more than anything! She'll truly be missed but never forgotten may she rest in paradise, love Doug.

Some of my memories of Cynthia was her young spirit and energy.
Cynthia’s cooking was without question, the best! Whenever Cynthia shared a funny story, she would tell it and have all of laughing to tears!

Cynthia is my daughter Bree's grandmother. She loved her children & grandchildren passionately. We didnt always agree, but she always had my ultimate respect. She taught me many things that I will carry on thru my life, especially long distance driving & how to get slow people out the left lane..lol.
