Mr. David “Scott” Cohran, age 57, of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019. Mr. Cohran was born in Douglasville, Georgia to Horace and Delma Cohran. He was a retired Veteran of the US Navy. He loved working in his yard with flowers and mowing the lawn. He could fix about anything. He enjoyed playing all kinds of instruments and had a talent for writing poems. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delma Cohran; son, Bradley Cohran; and sister, Janice Cohran Crew; his paternal grandparents, John (Dunk) and Clora Cohran, and maternal grandparents, William and Ethel Strickland. He is survived by father, Horace Cohran of Douglasville; two sons, Brian Cohran and Brent Cohran; two bothers, Mark Cohran and Chris Cohran; and a special aunt, Virginia Austin of Powder Springs. A Celebration of Life honoring Scott will be held at 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at the Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Chapel, 8640 Rose Avenue, Douglasville, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 9 am until 9 pm for visitation Saturday, September 21st and 10 am until 4 pm on Sunday, September 22nd at Whitley Garner Funeral Home.
