David Preston Singleton

Beloved father and grand-father, Mr. Singleton was a man who appreciated the simple things of life, being out in nature, and spending time with the people he loved. Also known for his natural mechanical abilities and self-reliance. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family, movies, and science-fiction novels.

Mr. Singleton was a member of the Douglas County High School Football Team’s State Championship team in 1964. He was a well-respected and successful plant manager at Tuf-Flex Glass Manufacturing for many years.

Mr. Singleton was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Singleton; and his parents, Frank and Mary Marshall Singleton.

He is survived by his son, Brian (Anna) Singleton; brother, Gary (Blenda) Singleton; two grandchildren, Bethany Singleton and Rebekah Singleton; nephews, Mike Singleton and Scott Singleton; as well as other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel.
