Deborah was a woman who truly never met a stranger. Known for her bright red lipstick, warm spirit, and gift for conversation, she could turn anyone she met into a friend within moments. Her faith was central to her life, and she openly shared how Jesus carried her through her cancer diagnosis, offering hope and encouragement to so many along the way.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures like music, family, and the ocean. She loved attending concerts throughout her life, a passion clear to anyone who saw her dancing and having the time of her life at the Eagles show this past Cinco de Mayo. For her, any chance to experience music and dance was a moment to be treasured.
The beach was her happy place, particularly Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine, where she loved the sound of the waves and the feeling of peace by the water, even if she sometimes wandered a little too far out into it.
Above all else, she cherished her grandchildren. Time spent laughing, talking, and making memories with them brought her immense happiness and pride. She especially loved attending their performances and special events, always cheering them on with joy and encouragement.
She will be remembered for her strong faith, joyful heart, love of music and the beach, and the kindness she freely gave to everyone she encountered. Her legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering testimony will continue to live on in all who knew her.
