Mrs. Denise Marlier, age 96, of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was born March, 19, 1922 in Belgrade, Belgium. Mrs. Marlier loved being an avid gardener. She enjoyed needlepoint and traveling as well doing activities with her church. Her favorite pastime however, was spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Marlier; parents, George and Victorine Gilon; brother, Gaston Gilon and sister, Monette Cnockaert.
She is survived by her son, Bruno Marlier, daughters, Vinciane (Pete) Drake, Gaetane Wilder and Joelle Griffith; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 2 o’clock pm in the Rosehaven Cemetery.
