Mrs. Doris Gilday Hohn, age 87, of Winston, GA passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. She was born December 11, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA. Mrs. Hohn graduated from State Teachers College in Bloomsburg, PA with a B.S. in Education in 1949. She married Carl Maurice Hohn in 1951.
Mrs. Hohn was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hohn; her parents; a daughter, Carolyn Lancaster; and a son, Maurice Hohn.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Stack; a son, Carl Hohn; three grandchildren, David Johnson, Billy Stack, and Christopher Stack; two great-grandchildren, Deborah Maxwell and Adelyn Stack.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville, 9190 Campbellton Street, Douglasville, GA. The burial will be Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Eastview Cemetery, 115 South Main Street, Adairsville, GA 30103.
