I had the pleasure of caring for Doris a handful of times during the last weeks. We spent much of our time together talking about our families. She spoke of her daughter, Teresa, often and told me how much she loved all of her family. She was very precious and I am so glad I got to meet her and take care of her, even if just for a few days. My heart breaks for all who are suffering from her loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. 💜

Aunt Doris was loved so much and she always thought of others first. She loved our son Sammy with all of her heart and always mentioned him everytime I talked to her. I will miss her sweet voice and sweet smile. Aunt Doris, I love you and I will always remember you. Prayers and hugs to your beautiful family.

I remember the first time I saw Doris (1962) I thought she was so beautiful. It was an honor to be her sister in law. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and had such a caring nature. Her family was her life. We will miss you sweet Doris. Fly high with the Angels and rejoice with your daddy, mama and Sammy.

To Doris' family-- you are in our prayers. I know it is difficult to go through such a great loss at any time, but especially now. I regret that we didn't get to spend a lot more time with Doris, but will always remember her beautiful smile! I love you all; please let me know if we can ever do anything for you! She now has no more pain and no more tears.

We are so sorry about all Doris has gone through with the Covid-19 virus and all that resulted from it. She was a fighter but the odds were against her. She has always been in our hearts and prayers and now in our memories. We will really miss her and the phone conversations that we enjoyed. We especially enjoyed it when she, Jean, Tina and Ena came to Loganville last year when our Uncle Charles visited. That was the last time we that we saw any of the family.
