Mr. Fitzpatrick James Rhett Williamson, age 79, of Winston, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016. He was born October 20, 1937 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Williamson was a member of several clubs and was very involved with civil war reenactments, geneology, cemetery maintenance and NASA. He was a member of the Volvo Car Club, the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) for 40 years, as well as a Free Mason.
Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Bernard and Edna Talley Williamson; and brothers, Mitchell Williamson and Kennerly Williamson.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Williamson; daughters, Kathy Williamson and Sarah Anthony; grandchildren, Andy Williamson, Marie Lujan, Danielle McKinney, Chloe Truelove, Fiona Chambers; eight great-grandchildren; as well as other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
