

Floytee was born on October 9, 1930 the daughter of the late Jeff Palmer and the late Gordie Chapman. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Floytee loved all children even if they were not her own. Crocheting was a favorite past time of hers and everyone wanted one of her blankets. Floytee also enjoyed her flower garden where she had all kinds and colors. Her perfect day involved planting flowers, tending to children and crocheting.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Lewallen and Timmy and Christy Lewallen; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Dewey Sewell Lewallen; son, Keith Lewallen; brother, Odell Palmer, and sister, Mozelle Smith.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow in Rosehaven Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
