Forrest Jerry Deal

Mr. Forrest Jerry Deal, age 74, of Winston, GA passed away October 17, 2017. He was born October 11, 1943 in Atlanta, GA. Jerry retired from Atlanta Gas Light after 38 years of service. He loved being on the lake fishing, camping and water skiing. He also loved being in Panama City on the beach. Jerry was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Nolan and Ruby Elizabeth Deal as well as his son-in-law Kinn Smith. He is survived by his wife and love of his life of 53 years Marlene Deal; son Travis (Deanna) Deal; daughters Tammie Smith and Lindy (Travis) Smith; grandchildren Javan Deal, Caleb Deal, Ansley Deal, Heather (Ronnie) Jacobs, Tiffany Townsend, Kaylee Smith, Austin Smith, Gracie Smith, Garrett Smith, Summer Smith, Chloe Smith and Tamra Smith; seven great-grandchildren; sister Mary Ann Mitchell; sister-in-laws Alice (Jeff) Reynolds and Flo Mueller as well as numerous other family members. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 5 until 8 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 4 o’clock pm in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Gary Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Haven Cemetery.
