Frances Hall Pearson

Mrs. Frances Hall Pearson, age 92, Villa Rica native and Douglasville resident, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. She was born January 8, 1924 in Villa Rica, Georgia. She lived from 1948-1971 in Jacksonville, FL where she was instrumental in establishing the North Florida Juvenile Diabetes Association in the early 1960s. She was retired from the Georgia Secretary of State Office. She was a longtime member of Douglasville First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nancy Hall.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Pearson; four children, William Pearson Jr., Fran Overdyke (Frank), Nancy Ramey (Jimmy) and Jan Hill (Lance); as well as nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Douglasville First United Methodist Church with Reverend Brett DeHart officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
