He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 29, 1956, son of the late Franklin Walter Blankenship and the late Regina Ann Cruse Blankenship.
He enjoyed fishing, playing card and dice games, sports cars, car shows, and the Georgia Bulldogs! He loved spending time with his grandbabies!
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rebecca; son, Henry Eric Meyer; daughter, Jenifer Sledd (Mark); sister, Patricia Cann; grandchildren; Tiffany Blamble (Tyler); Austin Sharpe (Amalie); and Samantha Jade Traylor.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 1, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Whitley-Garner.
Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
