Franklin Scroggins, age 73, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023. A native of Douglasville, he was born January 30, 1950. Franklin was a 1969 graduate of Douglas County High School. He loved spending time with his grandsons and in his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. Franklin had a love for horses and was an avid Alabama football fan – Roll Tide!!
Preceding him in death were his parents, Emmett and Janette (Maxwell) Scroggins; and a brother, Mark Scroggins.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jessie (Shane) Gower; brother, Lane Scroggins; two grandsons, Ryder and Cash; as well as numerous extended family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery, 4414 Highway 92, Douglasville, Georgia 30135 with Reverend Ikey Watson officiating.
