Mr. Bishop took pride in his home and enjoyed mowing the yard. When able, he liked to make time to go fishing, tend to his vegetable garden, and watch John Wayne movies (which were his favorite). He loved any kind of music from rock n roll to classic country, and was a fan of Elvis. More than anything he loved to spend time with his grandkids.
His parents, Merrill and Ethel Padgett Bishop, precede him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Bishop; daughter, Shacey (Joshua) Melson; sons, Jance (Daphne) Bishop and Chris Bishop; siblings, Ronnie (Donna) Bishop, Darold (Rhonda) Bishop, Jim (Deborah) Bishop, Danny Conkle, Debbie Granger, and Lisa (Jay) Perkins; and grandchildren, Emelyn Melson, Everhett Melson and Ryder Bishop.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A memorial service will be held following the visitation in the Rosehaven Chapel at 2:00 pm.
Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven is honored to be entrusted with the services of Mr. Harold Bishop.
