Mrs. H. Lorene Bell, age 80, of Douglasville, GA passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. She was born on September 6, 1934 in Rainsville, AL. Mrs. Bell enjoyed being outside and working with flowers and gardening. She also liked to read and do crossword puzzles. During the holidays she loved to cook for her family and friends. What she loved to do most though was play and be with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Chastain Bell. She is survived by her son, Michael Gross; daughters Janet Greenberg and son-in-law Kenneth as well as Paula Mobley and son-in-law Todd Mobley; brother Troy Bell; sisters Shirley McDaniel and Gwen Chadwick as well as five grandchildren Trevor Mobley, Madelyn Mobley, Rachel Gross, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Lewis and David Cross, III and best friend and confidant of twenty-five years, Shirley Menne.
