Helen Anne Shell

Anne was born on July 22, 1943, in Austell, GA. Anne was the beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and love touched so many lives.

She is survived by sons, Johnny R. Shell Jr, Russell Shell (Kellie) and Tim Shell; grandchildren, Kristen Adams (Wes), Rebecca Dutton (Jared), Jacob Shell (Carissa), Sarah Muse (Eli); great grandchildren, Levi, Wren, Casey, Penelope, and Jaxon; siblings, Marsha Collins, Susan White, Charles Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny R. Shell Sr. and her parents, Clovis Edgar Collins, and Helen Chambers Collins.

Anne enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. She also enjoyed spending time at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton where she helped with Mission Friends and teaching little ones about Jesus. She will be remembered for sayings with her family like “I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck”.

Her family will forever cherish the love, guidance, and memories she leaves behind.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 31 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Whitley Garner Funeral Home. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
