Sweet Pat: We are so saddened by Hank's passing. It doesn't seem real. You are in our thoughts and prayers. It will be hard not seeing him out and about waving, or piddling outside. He was always so kind to us. I know it is a comfort knowing he is no longer suffering. We hurt, though, with you.

I am so devastated by Hanks passing. To all his family please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I meet Hank 41 years ago when we both worked at Roper in Bradley, Illinois. We became friends and shared many fun and funny experiences there until 1984 when we both changed jobs and ended up working for Sewell Plastics in Atlanta. Again, we were both in the engineering department and the friendship continued.

We both loved to eat and sometimes Hank's BBQ would even get into his mouth. At least the part that didn't spill onto his shirt and tie! I remember one year we were talking about how much we missed Italian beef, a Midwest delicacy. So we decided to make some so we could pig out and maybe share it with some friends at work. Hank called his Mom and got her recipe (superb) and we made about 5 pounds of it and took it to work. It was such a hit that I don't think he and I got any of it. All the other Midwest transplants ate it all. So many good memories that make me smile.

Hank was one of the hardest workers I have ever met, and a more loyal friend you couldn't ask for. Goodbye, good friend. My life was better for having you for a friend. Steve
