A woman of deep faith and unwavering dedication, Ima was a long-time member of Ephesus Baptist Church, where she faithfully volunteered her time and talents for many years. Her presence and service touched many lives within her church family.
Known for her adventurous spirit and boundless curiosity, Ima loved to travel—both across the United States and internationally. She was always ready for her next journey, often with a suitcase packed and plans in motion. Her love for exploration was matched only by her creativity. She was a talented painter and spent many happy hours with a brush in hand, capturing beauty in her unique way.
Ima also found joy in simple pleasures. She was a proud member of the "Mourning Glories Club," a group of friends who gathered regularly to play dominoes and cards, share stories, and laugh together. During the summers, she took great satisfaction in canning and freezing the fruits of her labor, a tradition that reflected her resourcefulness and love of home.
Her life was rich with love, friendship, and purpose. Ima will be remembered for her kindness, vibrant spirit, and the many ways she made the world a little brighter for those who knew her.
