La Sra. Jacinta Ávila-Martínez con 85 años, de Douglasville, Georgia, falleció el domingo 1 de agosto del 2021. Nació en Iguala Guerrero, México, el 11 de septiembre del año 1935. Jacinta amaba a su familia por encima de cualquier otra cosa. Ella siempre estuvo ahí para ayudarlos y asegurarse de que siempre estuvieran atendidos. Le encantaba cocinar, jugar con sus amigos y familiares, jugar a la lotería y pasar tiempo con sus nietos. Disfrutaba viendo sus programas como Don Francisco presenta y ver peleas de box, paseando y asegurándose de lucir lo mejor posible. A Jacinta le gustaba que su cabello, uñas y maquillaje estuvieran arreglados. Ella era de fé católica y asistia a misa cuando podia en la iglesia católica St. John Vianney en Lithia Springs.
Le anteceden en la muerte sus padres, Concepción Ávila y Josefa Martínez, y 12 de sus hermanos.
Vivirá en el corazón de sus hijos, Xochitl Acevedo (Leonardo Salgado), Oscar Acevedo (Cristina Alemán) y Oswaldo Acevedo (Betsabe Santillán); su hermano, Sidronio Avila-Martinez; y sus nietos, Francisco Salgado, Estefania Salgado, Daniel Acevedo, Emily Acevedo, Ariadna Acevedo, Brayan Acevedo, Oswaldo Acevedo, Jr. y Ryan Acevedo.
La familia recibirá a los amigos en la funeraria el miércoles 4 de agosto de 2021 de 1:00 pm a 4:00 pm. Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre a las 4:00 pm en la Capilla Rosehaven. De acuerdo con sus deseos, Jacinta será incinerada después de que se completen los servicios.

Señora Jacinta Avila-Martinez, age 85, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. She was born in Iguala Guerrero, Mexico, on September 11, 1935. Jacinta loved her family above anything else. She was always there to help them and ensure they were cared for. She loved to cook, play games with her friends and family, play the Mexican lottery, and spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her shows, going on walks, and making sure she looked her best. Jacinta was adamant that she made sure her hair, nails, and makeup were done. She was of the Catholic faith and attended Mass when able at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Concepción Avila and Josefa Martinez, and 12 of her siblings.
She will live on in the hearts of her children, Xochitl Acevedo (Leonardo Salgado), Oscar Acevedo (Cristina Aleman), and Oswaldo Acevedo (Betsabe Santillan); her brother, Sidronio Avila-Martinez; and her grandchildren, Francisco Salgado, Estefania Salgado, Daniel Acevedo, Emily Acevedo, Ariadna Acevedo, Brayan Acevedo, Oswaldo Acevedo, Jr., and Ryan Acevedo.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 4:00 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel. In accordance with her wishes, Jacinta will be cremated after services are completed.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to her daughter, Xochitl, for help with funeral expenses.
