Jack Harold Canary

Mr. Jack Harold Canary, age 86, of Winston, GA passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was born December 18, 1928 in East Point, GA. Mr. Canary loved his family. He enjoyed church and was a member of the Douglasville First United Methodist Church. Mr. Canary volunteered through AARP to help seniors with their taxes and he dabbled in real estate.

Mr. Canary was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Katherine Lowe Canary.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Ergle Canary of Winston, GA, whom he married on December 14, 1951; son, Glen Alan Canary and wife Gayle Butler Canary of Winston, GA; daughter, Lisa Canary Martin and husband Rev. Dr. Donald Martin of Alpharetta, GA; sister, Geraldine Canary Whatley of Woodstock, GA; three grandchildren, Andrew Canary of Villa Rica, GA, Taylor Martin of Atlanta, GA and Aaron Martin of Atlanta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Canary and Tyler Canary of Villa Rica, GA.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Richard Jones officiating.
