OBITUARY
Jack Wilson Myers
April 27, 1945 – March 26, 2021
Mr. Jack Wilson Myers, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born on April 27, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Warren E. and Betty Wilson. An avid car enthusiast, Jack loved to work on cars and especially loved Hot Rods. He worked off and on as a mechanic and car salesman for most of his life. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf. Jack had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved all kinds of animals and watching Bonanza and the Andy Griffith Show. Jack was Baptist by faith and a member of Cowan Mill Baptist Church. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Emily (Matt) Cook, Darrin Myers, and Jack “Jackie” (Julie) Myers, Jr.; his grandchild, Tate Myers; a sister; and numerous loved ones, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 4:00 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Joshua Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Douglas County Humane Society, 2171 Mack Road, Douglasville, Georgia 30135
