He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Sally Mae Denton; brother, Harry Denton and sister, Beth Berry.
He is survived by his wife, and love of his life, Joyce Denton; sons, Jeff Denton and Nathan Denton; daughters, Stacey Harrison and Leigh Denton; brother, Roger Denton; sister, Ellen Shirley; grandchildren, Chandler Denton, Logan Denton and Hannah Powell as well as numerous other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 5 o’clock pm until 8 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 11 o’clock am. Interment will follow in the Rose Haven Cemetery.
