Dale, this is Frank Huggins from the Atlanta Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. It was just a few days ago that I learned of Jim's passing last November! I was shocked! Not only were Jim and I friends through our mutual hunting interest and the wonderful work he did for us with his gorgeous art work, but we were Facebook Friends as well. I followed your adventures regularly!

It goes without saying that I am heartbroken over his death and your loss of your soulmate. I do know that my friend will be waiting for me when I arrive in Heaven with that world-wide grin of his! I have spent the past few days remembering our times together at our various banquets. They are all sweet memories indeed.

God Bless You and your family. I wish you peace and strength as you move on with your life. As Willie Nelson sings in his new song about the loss of a loved one, "You don't get over it, you just get through it." How true that is.

We are deeply saddened to just now learn of Jim's passing. We have so many fond memories of Jim with Dale at SEWE, DU,QU and many wildlife art events. Also hosting Jim in our Gallery on 2 different occasions. These are memories that we will cherish forever.

My heart is sad. I was Jimmy's art teacher in high school , in bainbidge

My heart is sad. I was Jimmy's art teacher in high school , in Bainbridge , Ga. in the late 60's. I began to hear about his art and saw some of it in N. Ga on a trip. I contacted him and he sent me several emails and then we sorta of lost contact. He was a great student, not just just talented but kind and fun to teach. I will never forget his great class. I hope to hear from some of them. I have great sorrow for his wife and children. May the Father God hold you close now. Love and honor from Sylvia McCullars. You may contact me at my name and yahoo, all small letters.

Dale. I'm so sorry to hear of Jims death. My love & prayers are with you and your family. I have special memories of Jimmy. Betty Carter has kept me informed since the reunion. I'm so thankful for my print from Jimmy. They brought it to me last week. I was not at reunion due to health reasons. Think of you daily. Praying for comfort from God & family. Gloria Massey.

So sorry to hear of this news. Mr. Partee was always the life of the room and had a way to make everyone smile. I personally knew him for the 9 years I've been here. He will be sorely missed.
With love from Your local bank.

Ramsay and I are sad to hear this news. Our hearts and prayers are with you as we say our collective good byes to a man that was larger than life and so very loved, appreciated and talented. We will miss him and know his talents were a gift and used well. He was one of the good guys and his heart shined in everything he did. May he be remembered well and we all be thankful he touched our lives.

I have known Jimmy since he was a boy on the PeeWee football team I coached. Great man...and great artist.

With Sympathy - Wishing you strength for today and hope for tomorrow.

Monroe and I were so sorry to hear of Jimmy's death. We have great memories of him coming into our jewelry store. Saw him a couple of years ago at Southwind and caught up a little about our families. Prayers for all the family.

Our love and prayers go out to Dale, Lauren, family and friends.

My heart is breaking. Jimmy was larger than life with a personality that made everyone who knew him or met him, love him. I will miss talking with my sweet cousin. Dale, Lauren and your girls are in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that Jimmy had lots of family who loved him and we will always be here to carry on his love of family with you. Love you all , Sue Rich Hale
