Jeffrey Domenic Battista

Jeffrey “Jeff” Battista, age 66, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on August 4, 2026; just a few days shy of his 67th birthday. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 7, 1959 to Marian Battista and the late Hugo Battista.

Jeff enjoyed the companionship of his sweet pup, Lorelai, who he loved dearly. He was a lover of music, particularly the rock genre, and was a fan of Jefferson Starship. Well liked, he had a lot of friends and enjoyed spending time with everyone. He was a great cook and an avid Star Trek fan. Jeff loved his Catholic faith and was very devout. During his sickness, he took solace in meeting with their Priest and praying.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hugo Battista, and brother, Robert Battista.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Marian Battista, and niece and nephew, Michael and Regina Battista; as well as other loved ones and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm. A prayer service will begin at 4:00 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel.
