Jerry Wayne Earnhart

Mr. Jerry Wayne “Booboo” Earnhart, age 63, of Douglasville, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his devoted family. Mr. Earnhart was born on January 21, 1953, the son of the late Bennie L and Marion Louise Wilson Earnhart. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville and proudly served in the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of Earnhart Antenna & Satellite Service and was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Lee Earnhart.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Mrs. Glyn Louise Pelfrey Earnhart. His daughters, Janet Earnhart Mayo and her husband Matthew and Shanna L. Earnhart. His sister, Sheila Lynn Earnhart Hilderbrand and her husband, Jon. A brother-in-law, Gregg Pelfrey and his wife, Sharon. Three grandsons, Matthew Mayo, Jr., Bradley Mayo, and Daniel Mayo. Four nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services for Mr. Earnhart will be conducted on Sunday February 7, 2016 at 2 pm from the Rosehaven Chapel of the Whitley – Garner Funeral Home with his Pastor, Dr. John Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosehaven Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will include; Matthew Mayo,Sr, Gregg Pelfrey, Jon Hilderbrand, Alan Karanovich, Don Butler and Charles Powell. Parker Morris will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
