Mr. Jimmy Alexander Hart, age 75, of Winston, GA passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. He was born November 19, 1943 in Oskaloosa, IA. Jimmy loved to fish and garden; he was known to have a green thumb. He was an extremely generous man who always helped others. Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was also involved in boxing and wrestling while serving in the military. He was a great dad and husband. He loved his children and was “the best there is.”

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, and sister. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vickie Hart; his children, Alex Hart, Julia Chism, Debbie Brautigam, Tanya (Lee) Hart, and Susan (Curt) Johnson; his grandchildren; and other loved ones, family, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Rosehaven Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Bright Star Cemetery.

have many great memories with Jimmy from chili cookoffs to greyhound races to many conversations at Topps bar and grill to sharing weekly emails and playing golf with Jimmy. you will be greatly missed my friend.RIP

Known Jimmy since 1968. Wonderful memories of that friendship. From Houston, Texas to Atlanta, Ga. Jimmy found Vicki and they were such wonderful folks. Will miss him.
