Mrs. Joan Mann

Mrs. Joan “Mom” Mann, 85, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on October 7, 2019. She was born in Phelps City, MO, to the late John Henry Mutter and late Blanch Virginia Mutter. Ms. Mann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her priority which was clear to all who visited her home. The walls were full of photos taken through the years, of her loving family. Joan also enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles. However, talking may have been her favorite pastime.

Joan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Bert Stanetzki of Douglasville, GA; son, Billy R. Edwards, Sr., of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Rhiannon Stanetzki, Joanna and Robert Wray, and Billy R. and Nancy Edwards, Jr.; 4 great grandchildren and her sisters, Ruby Schaumman and Maxine McDowell.

Joan was proceeded in death by her parents; first husband, of 30 years, and father of her children, Billy Ray Edwards. She also lost her second husband Philip Mann in 2009. Her heart was broken by the loss of her grandson, Johnny Ray Edwards and brother, Albert Mutter.

Ms. Mann’s graveside service will be on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Memorial Park with her daughter Lana Stanetzki officiating
