Juanita was born August 20, 1934 in Chattahoochee, Georgia, the daughter of the late J. B. Edwards and the late Mildred Elizabeth Daniel Edwards. Juanita was a true “Southern Magnolia” loved by all who knew her. She was smart, sweet and had lived a blessed life. Juanita never hesitated to help others and show her kindness. She was a great cook and an avid Atlanta Braves Baseball fan. Juanita found great comfort in the presence of her friends and could talk for hours on the phone. Her husband, Harry treated her like a queen for seventy years and they had a wonderful life together.
Those left to cherish her memory are: son, Neal Monroe, daughter and son-in-law Lorita and John Bone; sister, Sandra Bartlett; grandchildren, James Bone, Lori Bair and Eric Daniel Monroe; and great grandchildren, Benner and Asa Bair.
In addition to her parents, J. B. and Mildred Edwards, Juanita’s husband, Harry Monroe, brothers, Eugene “Buster” Edwards, Lawrence Joel Edwards and sister, Margaret Edwards Dutton precede her in death.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at Riverview Memorial Park, 5411 S. Cobb Drive, S.E., Smyrna, Georgia 30080.
