Judy Lynette Appling

She will be remembered for her love of life and the simple joys that brought her happiness. Judy enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, as well as dining out and sharing meals with others. Music was also a meaningful part of her life. She especially loved listening to R&B and gospel, which brought her comfort and inspiration.

Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Tyrus Layten, Isaiah Bracey and Darius Bracey; siblings, Sandra Williams and Readus Moore and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Charlene Appling; her nephew that she raised as a son, Readus Moore Jr as well as her parents, Rose (Moore) and James Appling.

The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner Funeral Home Thursday, April 16 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday April 17, at 2:00 pm with Pastor C.
