Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born August 11, 1940 in Hartselle, Alabama. Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her most cherished times were being with her family, especially being "Granny" to Will and Mary Ellen. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play baseball, softball, and basketball. When Kyle was younger and in school, she volunteered in school activities and booster clubs. Judy loved going out to eat with her family, and she especially loved any sweets-there was always room for dessert in Judy's book. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed going to the movies, working puzzles, playing cards, playing bingo with friends and she was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Judy loved going to church and enjoyed listening to the old Gospel hymns.
Preceding her in death were her beloved husband of 32 years, Emory Webster Dunton, Jr.; and her parents, Royce and Lula Mae (Taylor) Howard.
Those left to cherish her memory are son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Stephanie Dunton of Smyrna, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Sherry Howard of Villa Rica, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and John McDaniel of Friendsville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, William Webster Dunton and Mary Ellen Dunton; as well as many extended family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
