Ms. Julie Ann Allen, age 56, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born February 7, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia. She loved wildlife, especially offering refuge to squirrels she had rescued. She was an avid Harley-Davidson fan and in her later years, she enjoyed art and coloring.
Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Mitchell.
She is survived by her father, Jim Allen; son, David (Jessica) Ivey; daughter, Raquel Blalock; brothers, Jack (Aleta Ellison) Allen, Jimmy Allen and Thomas Mitchell; grandson, David Ivey III; granddaughter, Jordan Ivey; as well as numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Robert Ledbetter officiating.
