June S. Bragg

Our dear and beloved mother, Mrs. June S. Bragg, age 81 of Fairburn, GA kept the faith, fought the good fight and finished the race on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. She was a God-fearing woman; full of faith, who loved the Lord and did many alms in secret. She was a joy to be around. She was a best friend and companion to each of her children and a caregiver to her two younger sisters. Her capacity to love was without limitation. She was a giver and expected little in return. She enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, quilting, playing games and spending time with her family. She was also a big fan of Judge Judy and The Price is Right. Heaven must be brighter now and God must be smiling as He embraces our Mama and dries every tear from her eyes.

Mrs. Bragg is preceded in death by her husband, and love of her life, Ralph A. Bragg; her daughter Judy Ann Baxter; her parents Frank and Pauline Vickers as well as her granddaughter Malisa Mae Kidd.

She is survived by her sons Johnny and Debbie Bragg, Rudy and Nancy Bragg and David Bragg; daughters Louise and Larry Kidd, Susie and Jimmy Burdette; sisters Jeanette Sanders and Mary Carithers; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 5 until 8 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 1 o’clock in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
