Mrs. Karen Sue Wright, age 72, of Winston, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was born January 10, 1946 in Red Bud, Illinois. Karen loved to spend time at home with her husband, and enjoyed spending time on the computer. Karen had home hospice, allowing many family members to be with her at her passing. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death were her parents, William August and Dorothy (Steffens) Hopple.
Karen is survived by her beloved husband, George Lee Wright; three sisters, Debbie, Jeannie and Charlotte; two sons, Jim and Scott; eight grandchildren and one on the way; and many more in-laws from her husband’s side of the family.
