Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence A. Lovins and Jewell O. Lovins; his son, Ashley “Ash” Kenneth Lovins; his siblings, Ollie B. Lovins, Bobby Lovins, Marie Beard, Leonard Lovins, Dick Lovins and James S. ”Peanut” Lovins.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Kim L. Lovins; niece, Cindy (Brian) Gilbert; great-nieces, Deanna (Bryce) Cobb and Alyssa Jewell Gilbert; daughter-in-law, Melisa Todd; and other extended family members and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
Kenneth was a man of many talents and enjoyed spending his time outdoors and working with his hands. He had a passion for taxidermy and woodworking. He thoroughly enjoyed making walking sticks. Kenneth was an avid hunter who loved hunting deer and turkey. He also took great pride sharing his skills, knowledge and crafts with others.
Kenneth will be remembered for his talents, his love of the outdoors, especially his humor and stories. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Whitley-Garner at Rose Haven Funeral Home in Douglasville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, at 11:00 AM. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Prays Mill Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglasville, Georgia.
